La Promesa Early Learning Center, a state-authorized dual-language (Spanish/English) public charter school, has immediate openings for the 2019-2020 school year. 

FT Middle School English Teacher
Must possess or be eligible for a K-8 Elementary License with TESOL Endorsement. Experience working with diverse populations, planning units, focusing on English Language Development, using data to drive instruction, and coordinating and delivering teacher-led intervention is a plus. Preference will be given to teachers with a track record of increasing student achievement.

 

FT Middle School Spanish Teacher 
Must possess or be eligible for a K-8 Elementary License with Bilingual Endorsement. Experience working with diverse populations, planning units, using data to drive instruction, and coordinating and delivering teacher-led intervention is a plus. Preference will be given to teachers with middle school teaching experience with a track record of increasing student achievement.


FT Special Education Teacher (Grades 5-8)

Must possess or be eligible for a Pre K-12 Special Education License. Must have experience working with diverse populations, planning units, using data to drive instruction, managing a SPED caseload, writing IEPs, and facilitating IEP meetings. Preference will be given to bilingual (Spanish/English) applicants, applicants with experience serving intermediate and middle school level students, and applicants that possess a gifted endorsement.



Hourly Activity Bus Driver ($18/hour) 

Must have a clean driving record, possess a criminal background check that is no more than two years old or be willing to obtain one, provide a copy of satisfactory completion of a department of transportation (DOT) physical examination, provide verification of the proper license as a school bus driver (issued by the motor vehicle division), and provide a copy of your commercial drivers license examination; vehicle inspection, basic control skills and road test.
