La Promesa Early Learning Center, a state-authorized dual-language (Spanish/English) public charter school, has several openings for the 2019-2020 school year. 

FT 6th Grade English Teacher 
Must possess or be eligible for a K-8 Elementary License with TESOL Endorsement. Experience working with diverse populations, planning units, using data to drive instruction, and coordinating and delivering teacher-led intervention is a plus. Preference will be given to teachers with a track record of increasing student achievement. FT Special Education Teacher (Grades 5-8)
Must possess or be eligible for a PreK-12 Special Education License. Bilingual and/or TESOL endorsement preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Responsible for case management, providing differentiated instruction in accordance with IEP goals, collaborating with general education teachers, writing IEPs, faciliating IEP meetings, etc. We offer NMPSIA benefits, ERB retirement, technology in every classroom, new core reading curriculum, salary schedule that exceeds the local district, reasonable contract hours, and a merit pay system for meeting school-wide goals. 

Hourly Activity Bus Driver ($18/hour)
Must have a clean driving record, possess a criminal background check that is no more than two years old or be willing to obtain one, provide a copy of satisfactory completion of a department of transportation (DOT) physical examination, provide verification of the proper license as a school bus driver (issued by the motor vehicle division), and provide a copy of your commercial drivers license examination; vehicle inspection, basic control skills and road test.
