Today, @GOVMLG will sign an Executive Order to direct New Mexico public education to shift to a learn-at-home model as schools remain closed for the rest of the academic year.

Beginning Monday, March 16, New Mexico K-12 public schools will close for three weeks to mitigate the risk of community spread of COVID-19. While the closing is currently effective through April 6, it may be extended as conditions warrant. NMPED and New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) are working together on a daily basis to share the most current information as well as to consult on protocols, procedures and best practices.
