Beginning Monday, March 16, New Mexico K-12 public schools will close for three weeks to mitigate the risk of community spread of COVID-19. While the closing is currently effective through April 6, it may be extended as conditions warrant. NMPED and New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) are working together on a daily basis to share the most current information as well as to consult on protocols, procedures and best practices. Hello! smiley
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year. My name is Danielle Miranda and this my 10th year here at Albuquerque Bilingual Academy. I am happy to be still working at ABA for another school year. This year, I have transitioned from the Middle School Special Education teacher to the Student Success Advisor. Although I will miss being in the classroom, I am excited to begin this new chapter.

I graduated from New Mexico Highlands University with a Dual-Bachelor's in Elementary Education and in Special Education. I currently hold a Level II Teaching License. I am currently working on my Master's Degree and will be completing the program at the end of this school year. I hope to provide ABA students with the necessary skills to fulfill their potential so that they become productive members of our community. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to a great school year!
